Meditation—
Settling into inner space,
Feeling the waves of breath flowing in and out of the body,
Like waves at the beach,
Feeling their rhythm,
Letting go of trying and struggle,
Surrendering to serenity.
Soon the waves of thought diminish,
Disturbance subsides,
Mind settles,
Heart opens,
Spirit expands.
Time becomes irrelevant.
